BSF Recovers Two Glock Pistols Airdropped By Pakistani Drone In Punjab’s Tarn Taran – Jagran English

The Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday recovered two Glock pistols in Khalra village of Punjab’s Tarn Taran district, officials said. This comes after the BSF troops recovered a China-made drone in a field in Khalra village based on specific information.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, the BSF Punjab  Frontier wrote, “After the recovery of a Pakistani drone in Village Khalra, a massive search operation was launched by the BSF troops in the vicinity, resulting in the successful recovery of two pistols (Glock – Made in Austria). @BSF_Punjab tails and tracks all drone intrusions. It is due to these efforts that such important recoveries are made after the sincere and tireless efforts of troops on the ground.”

The two pistols were recovered by the BSF personnel during a search operation from the premises of a government school in Khalra. The weapons were wrapped in yellow adhesive tape and were made in Austria. 

Earlier on November 18,  the  BSF also recovered a drone in Wan village in the Tarn Taran district of Punjab. It also recovered a packet containing two kilograms of heroin from a field near the India-Pakistan border in Punjab’s Ferozepur. 

In November, the BSF troops and the Punjab Police conducted a joint search operation on the outskirts of Kalash Havelian village in Tarn Taran and recovered two Pakistani drones and 550 grams of heroin after receiving the information. 

In another operation which took place in the same month, the BSF troops recovered another broken drone and a packet of 550 gm of heroin from a field near Rattan Khurd village in Amritsar. 

During the initial days of November, the Border Security Force recovered a Pakistani drone from a field on the outskirts of Dhanoe Khurd village in Punjab’s Amritsar during a search operation. According to officials, on specific information regarding the presence of a drone, a search operation was launched by BSF on the outskirts of Dhanoe Khurd village.
